ABOUT TOMOKO

Tomoko is a multidisciplinary designer and creative leader with nearly two decades of experience shaping thoughtful, human-centered experiences across product, brand, and storytelling. She has built and scaled digital products used by millions, most recently as a Staff Product Designer at Airbnb in New York, where she led complex, cross-functional initiatives and helped define high-impact user experiences.

Now based in Kobe, Japan, Tomoko runs the studio, collaborating with global clients and teams. Her work sits at the intersection of design, culture, and connection—bridging perspectives between the U.S. and Japan while crafting work that is both strategic and deeply human.

Alongside her professional practice, she is an artist and mother of two boys, often drawing inspiration from everyday moments of motherhood.
